Favourite genre of music: Largely electronic/trancey kinds of things, but I'll listen to anything if I like it.
The lesser icewyrm of Xiaoyang Province is a well-known, if uncommon, danger during the winters of the region. They migrate down from the peaks of the Hongmei Range when the weather is cold enough for the lakes that web the region to form a thick crust of ice, as those are the ideal conditions for them to mate and raise their young. One is unlikely, however, to ever see this magnificent display of nature, as their rituals are conducted entirely beneath the ice. Any attempts to observe the process have been foiled by the propensity of the wyrms to regard any shadows walking on the surface above them as prey, upon which they burst through the ice in one swift blow, frequently swallowing the foolish creature whole, or wounding it enough that it can be pursued and eaten at their leisure. Their appetite is undiscerning.
The canny traveler is advised to enjoy the delights of Xiaoyang during warm weather. Failing that, one ought to hire a local guide who knows the bodies of water the wyrms are inhabiting that winter. Failing that, avoid anything deeper than a creek.
