Been noodling about in a bit of a creative slump, then saw the contest and thought redoing an old piece might be the thing to feel better and get enthused again.

Had to rush it, but it did the trick. :) (Although if I hadn't improved in almost ten years, that would be sad, admittedly.) And now I know what Ask is doing sitting around in the grass! It started off as the same innocuous being-cute-on-the-lawn, then slowly morphed over the course of painting into something a little more interesting.

Wow :) Great improvement! Apart from the fact that your painting skills have obviously improved quite a lot, I also love how you made this piece so much more intriguing by hinting at a story. Good luck in the contest!
